Russian delegation ready for talks with Ukraine in Belarus

MOSCOW, (Reuters) – A Russian delegation arrived in Belarus to discuss with Ukraine. According to Ifax, a spokesperson for Kremlin said Sunday that these were the first talks since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Dmitry Peskov, a spokesperson for Russia, said that the Russian delegation consisted of officials from both the defense and foreign ministries as well as President Vladimir Putin’s offices. They were waiting to meet their Ukrainian counterparts at Gomel in Belarus.
