Dutch regulator issues sixth $5.7 million fine against Apple in App Store dispute -Breaking

REUTERS/Joshua RobertsAMSTERDAM, (Reuters) – Monday’s sixth weekly penalty of five million euros ($5.7 million) was imposed by the Dutch antitrust regulator against Apple (NASDAQ) because it failed to follow an order to allow its App Store to accept other forms of payment.
Reuters earlier reported Monday that Apple informed the Authority for Consumers and Markets it believes it has complied to the watchdog’s orders.
In a statement, the ACM stated that Apple was still in its original position. The new fine was imposed by it.
