WASHINGTON (Reuters] – President Joe Biden has traveled to Wisconsin to discuss his bipartisan infrastructure bill and to share how it will benefit the state.

Biden gave his State of the Union speech Tuesday. His first State of the Union speech was overshadowed by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Biden attacked Russian President Vladimir Putin and barred Russian aircraft from American airspace. He also led Republican and Democratic lawmakers to rare displays of unity.

Biden answered reporters Wednesday morning when asked if Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zilenskiy should be expelled or remain in Ukraine. Biden said that Russia’s ban on oil and gas imports is still possible.

He will be visiting Wisconsin with his first wife Jill Biden.

A few months remain before U.S. midterm election. Democrats feel that there are very slim chances they can retain control of both the House and Senate. The House has 435 representatives, and the U.S. Senate has one third of its members. This includes Democrats who live in highly competitive areas in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada.

Wisconsin has been one of those states where voters have had to choose between Democrats and Republicans for the presidency.

According to the most recent Reuters/Ipsos survey, less than half Americans support Biden.

According to a national opinion poll conducted February 28th-March 1 in the United States, 43% of adults approved of Biden’s office performance while 54% were disapproving and the remaining unsure. Since August, Biden’s approval has remained at or below half of its august level.
