Parler opens NFT market with Trump NFTs

Parler is a right-leaning social network app that has created DeepRedSky, a NFT marketplace. The platform’s debut will coincide with CryptoTrump Club which is a collection of 250 NFTs from former US President Donald Trump.

DeepRedSky sells Solana-based NFTs. Credit card purchases will be possible. The NFT platform does not intend to be a competitor in terms of fee structure. Although he didn’t give clear details on what the platform will charge for transactions, Parler CEO George Farmer said that DeepRedSky’s fees would be higher than that of OpenSea, which currently takes a cut of 2.5%.

DeepRedSky facilitates NFT trades. Customers who are interested in starting their own NFT collections can also get consulting services from DeepRedSky. Farmer stated:

OpenSea is a platform that allows you to collaborate with 50 to 100 brands. With Discord, we want to assist you in brand promotion.

Parler was already involved in business deals with Melania Trump, the former First Lady. According to Farmer, the platform worked with the First Lady’s office to sell its first digital collectible in January.

Last month, Trump released NFTs of photos from her visit to Macron’s 2018 state trip. A second set of 10,000 NFTs is in the works, and will retail for $50 per piece. The new collection will feature images from Trumps’ time in office.

Not President Trump created the first CryptoTrump Club list. Farmer declined to reveal the identity of its creator.

The collection is priced at $2,750 per piece and shows Trump in various settings including the cowboy Trump wearing a gun belt around his shoulders, the tuxedo Trump with Diet Coke and the piratical Trump.
