Boeing airplane deliveries slipped in February, Dreamliner problem lingers

BoeingCustomers received 22 jetliners in February, which was the lowest number of aircraft delivered since August. This is despite the fact that Dreamliner handovers are still a major concern for the company.

20 of these aircraft were 737 Max. Boeing and other companies are very dependent upon plane delivery because it’s the time when the aircraft’s customers pay most of its price.

Boeing is addressing a number of manufacturing defects that led to delays in the delivery of 787 Dreamliner wide-body aircrafts.

American AirlinesLast month’s announcement additional cutsDreamliner allows for international flight delivery delays. The company said that it expected to receive 10 Dreamliners in 2018, down from 13 as previously anticipated.

Last month, Boeing received 37 new orders. 32 of these were Boeing 737 Maxes. Air Lease. As air cargo demand remains strong during the pandemic, a customer purchased five 777 freighters. Air Lease has debooked four Dreamliners.
