Factbox-Apple upgrades iPhone SE and iPad Air, launches Mac Studio -Breaking

(Reuters: Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:) Tuesday saw the launch of a low-cost 5G iPhone SE. It would compete directly against mid-range rivals and allow the company that is the largest in the world to attract consumers with a limited budget.

Apple’s fastest chipset was also unveiled at “Peek Performance” and nearly every device on its 5G platform was brought to the table.

iPHONE S – FASTER, BETTER, CHEAPER

The update will be the iPhone SE’s most recent since 2020.

Apple’s $429 smartphone gives it a greater chance of competing with market leaders Samsung (KS) and Xiaomi (OTC), and brings more people looking for fast connectivity to the Apple ecosystem.

iPhone 13 with 5G is priced at $799, compared to the iPhone SE, which launched last year. An earlier iPhone SE was priced at $399.

From March 18th, the iPhone SE will begin shipping.

Refresh IPAD

iPad Air receives its second refresh in 2 years. It features a refreshed design, faster M1 chipet and 5G connectivity.

Apple stated that its advanced chip would allow the iPad to run twice as fast than other models in the range. It will go on sale March 18 at 599 dollars and is available for purchase starting in March.

“MONSTER CHIP”

Apple introduced M1 Ultra, a brand new chip in house. It was created by merging two M1 Max chip chips. This chip will load in Mac Studio, which is now available. It’s twice as fast.

BRAND NEW MAC STUDIO

Apple has launched Mac Studio, a powerful computer with high performance for filmmakers, musicians and videographers.

Mac Studio employs the M1 Max chip which is 3.4x faster than iMac and the M1 Ultra chip is 80% faster that Apple’s highest Mac Pro.

MacStudio has a 5-K retina display that measures 27 inches and is easily hidden underneath the display.

Mac Studio is the first product of its type. The price for Mac Studio with M1 chip version starts at $1999, while the M1 Ultra loaded model costs $3,999. Studio Display costs $1,599.
