Norway backs shareholder call for Toshiba to solicit buyout offers -Breaking

TOKYO (Reuters) – According to a voting history, Norges Bank Investment Management voted in favor of a shareholder request requesting Toshiba (OTC) Corp solicit buyout proposals from private equity companies.

Norges, the largest sovereign wealth fund in the world, opposed the Japanese conglomerate’s plans to split itself by selling its devices business.
