Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

After closing in Tel Aviv the stock rose by 0.2% to reach a new one-month high.

These were the best performers of the session Israel Corp TASE:, which rose 4.92% to 9,040.00 points and traded at 192.940.00 at close. Meanwhile, Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE) gained 4.07%, or 379.00 points, to reach 9,683.00. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd. TASE: was up 3.88%, or 143.00 Points to 3,833.00 during late trade.

They were also the worst performers of the session. Maytronics (TASE) fell 5.68%, or 395.00 points, to trade at 6,555.00 by the close. Nova (TASE) fell 3.39%, or 1,300.00, to close at 37.100.00. Nice Ltd (TASE) dropped 2.69%, or 1,960.00, to reach 70,790.00.

By 252 to 252, falling stocks outnumbered those in progress on Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, while 252 and 250 were unchanged.

Israel Corp’s shares rose by 4.92% to reach 5-year heights. The gain was from 9,040.00 to 19,940.00. Ashtrom Group Ltd. (TASE) shares rose to new highs, rising by 4.07% (3799.00 to 9683.00).

Crude oil rose 4.40%, or 4.81, to $114.08 per barrel for May delivery. Brent oil, which was due for delivery May 11, rose by 5.48 or 4.75%, reaching $120.96/barrel. Meanwhile, the April Gold Futures contract was up 0.81%, or 15.65, trading at $1,937.15 per troy ounce.

USD/ILS increased by 0.27%, to 3.22. EUR/ILS remained unchanged at 0.03 to 3.54.

US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.7% to 98.69
