NFT Band Debuts With Performance at the Ellen DeGeneres show

Ellen Degeneres has already minted her own hand drawn NFT collection to benefit a hunger relief organization, she’s bought and sold NFTs, and she’s advocated for them on her show before, she’s raised money for non profits by selling them, and the trend continues with the announcement of the Milkyway Pirates band and NFT project debuting on her show today.

EMBARGO Tuesday, March 22nd 2022 at 6pm EST New York. The Milkyway Pirates NFT Collection made their national TV debut as the very first NFT group to appear on television. This was when NFTs appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ show. Kiesza is the Milkyway Pirates NFT collector, which made it possible to set a new world record. This is a record-setting event for avatar band performances on national television with Ellen DeGeneres.

Kiesza is a Platinum-selling artist in dance music and performed on Tuesday’s Ellen DeGeneres Show with characters from The Milkyway Pirates NFT Project. Ellen and Kiesza discuss their shared passion for mountain gorilla conservation. Kiesza discusses her recovery from 2017’s near-fatal accident.

The Milkyway Pirates is a generative avatar project that uses metaverse-ready NFTs. It announced today it had received seed funding from QGlobe. QGlobe is an accelerator and launchpad for Web3 Metaverse, GameFi, and other projects. Kiesza, the project leader and dance music musician said:

“The Milkyway Pirates is an ambitious project that aims to set world records to innovate in music, blockchain, and space exploration. QGlobe selected the Milkyway Pirates to the accelerator program. We are happy. Funding aside, their teams metaverse and web3 backgrounds have turned this project into a serious contender.”

NFT’s NFT Band performed on Ellen Degeneres. They were able to use meta-chain emote technology, Meta Moves. This is not just an animation that you can see being displayed on Ellen. However, dance moves can still be emoted across different platforms like Decentraland. NFT avatars now have the ability to emote using custom moves that are unique for each Smart NFT, bringing game utility into play. This empowers users to express their movement.

The art brings color and movement to life as each Smart NFT is metaverse equipped avatars who not only perform, but also dance their way through the metaverse with decentralized technology that’s being released for the first time. Presented by QGlobe, generative art project Milkyway Pirates brings metaverse expression straight from Kiesza’s original choreographed moves to motion capture powered NFTs. NFTs of Milkyway Pirates have now the ability to use metaverse expression through dance emotes. This allows NFT holders to create new ways for them in the metaverse using dance culture emotes. Dancers with unique choreography can be paid royalty rates using blockchain technology.

Smart NFTs have been brought to all walks of life. Milkyway Pirates is the first Smart NFT that goes beyond the ordinary utility. It also sets a new standard for dance emote and TV appearances. Luke Didlo (a world-renowned NFT artist) hand crafts each NFT. Decentraland avatars, up until now, have limited motion options in the way they can express their emotions with decentralized movements called emotes.

In partnership with Meta Moves (QGlobe) and Metafi, 10 NFT avatars from the Milkyway Pirates generative NFT collection will have metaverse emotes. MetaMoves and the Milkyway Pirates have brought to life members of the band through customized human movements. As the first project to gain access, the Decentraland DAO approved the Meta Moves technology after reviewing the submission of a poll requesting “OPEN NFT Emote Loading/Minting in Decentraland to the Public, similar to wearable minting” according to a Decentraland spokesperson.

Kiesza, primarily known for Sound of a Woman record’s hit single Hideaway, shares a passion with Ellen for their love of non profits as discussed in today’s episode on the Ellen DeGeneres show. Moving should be allowed to everyone in order for them to express themselves through dance, music and expression. Medi Print will receive a percentage of any sale proceeds from the sale of a super-rare NFT. Medi Print is a non-profit organization that provides custom prosthetics for those with missing or amputations. Because to be fully inclusive in dance culture it’s important to empower those with disabilities to bring the joy of self-expression through movement.

Finaly, there will also be a Twitter Space Marathon (NYSE: Space) that will begin on March 28th at noon. This will allow fans to come as speakers and discuss NFT culture.
