Saudi Arabia’s close was marked by an increase of 0.03% that brought it up to its 5-year highest.
They were the top performers at the session Scientific and Medical Equipment House Company CJSC, (SE:), rose 9.93% (6.80 points) to trade at 75.30 by the closing. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE.) gained 7.88%, or 3.45 points, to reach 47.25. National Medical Care Company was up 6.31% (or 4.70 points) to 79.20 late trade.
Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance, (SE:) was the worst performer of the session. It fell by 3.26% (0.48 points), to close at 14.24. Alujain Corporation (SE:), fell 2.97%, or 1.90 points, to close at 62.10. The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE) fell 2.78% or 2.00 points to 69.90.
Stocks that are rising outnumbered those in decline on Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange were 112 to103, while 21 was unchanged.
National Medical Care Company shares (SE:), rose to five-year highs, up 6.31%. That’s an increase of 4.70 to79.20. The Company for Coop shares rose to new highs. Insurance (SE) dropped to 52-week lowest levels; down 2.8%, or 2.00, to 69.90
May’s crude oil delivery fell by 2.38% (or 2.74%) to $112.19/barrel. Brent oil fell 3.13 percent or 2.57% to $118.47 per barrel in commodity trading. The April Gold Futures contract was up 0.98%, or 19.05, to trade at $1956.35 an ounce.
EUR/SAR fell 0.2% to 4.12 while USD/SAR was unchanged at 0.00% to 3.75.
US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.2% at 98.90
