Bruce Willis ‘stepping away’ from career after aphasia diagnosis, family says

Bruce Willis’ family has announced that he is “stepping down” from acting after being diagnosed as having aphasia.

In a heartfelt Instagram postRumer Willis (eldest daughter of Demi and Willis) shared her concern that Rumer Willis’ diagnosis is “impacting his cognitive ability.”

“To Bruce’s incredible supporters, we wanted to tell you that Bruce has been suffering from some health problems and was recently diagnosed with aphasia. This is affecting his cognitive abilities,” she wrote. She also signed the letter by Emma, Demi and Scout.

Moore also shared this post on her Instagram page.

Bruce will be stepping down from the job that meant so much to his life as a result.

Aphasia can be described as a disease that impairs the ability of people to communicate. Aphasia can impair your ability to understand, speak and write language. according to the Mayo Clinic.

This condition is most common after strokes or brain injuries, but can develop gradually due to brain tumors or other degenerative diseases.

Willis’ family didn’t give any details. The family wrote that the time was “very difficult” but they were “moving forward as a strong unit.”

In conclusion, the Instagram photo states that Bruce says “Live it up” and plans to continue doing so together.
