Public accounting oversight board sanctions KPMG’s ex-vice chair -Breaking

© Reuters. WASHINGTON (Reuters), KPMG LLP has sanctioned its former vice-chair of audit for “failing reasonably to supervise,” it said in a Tuesday statement.
Scott Marcello was censured by the PCAOB for his “supervisory failings” and a $100,000 fine. This is the largest penalty in an individual proceeding of the PCAOB.
