New York AG calls on JPMorgan, Bank of America, others to eliminate overdraft fees -Breaking

NEW YORK (Reuters) – New York Attorney General Letitia James called on some of the biggest U.S. banks on Wednesday – JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE:), Bank of America (NYSE:), US Bancorp (NYSE:), and Wells Fargo (NYSE:) & Co – to eliminate all overdraft fees in consumer accounts.

According to her office, James stated that she had called for banks to do the right thing to remove overdraft fees. These charges are harmful to low-income New Yorkers.
