This launch was made possible due to the April 18th beta closing.
RealCollection: How do you define it?
RealCollection was created to allow you to exchange all NFTs original physical work. Since its opening, New York East Village artworks—-a movement started in Manhattan, New York, focusing on graffiti art—are mainly featured. It is part of an overall marketing strategy designed to showcase and convert world-class artists’ works into NFTs. Thus, creating a steady and profitable growth path.
Despite becoming a slum due to reckless gentrification, lack of appropriate development plans and reckless gentrification, the East Village became a center for anti-establishment culture. It also became a place for social discussions about issues such as sexuality, AIDS and poverty.
The New York East Village, not surprisingly, gave birth to renowned artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat, also called “The Black Picasso,” Keith Harring, Jane Dickson, and James Romberger. The press release states that fourteen of the artworks by the East Village artists will be tokenized, and then put up for sale.
NFT Security and Authenticity
RealCollection prioritizes authenticity which is a critical issue in this burgeoning NFT market. RealCollection took important steps like signing a contract to validate the NFT’s trustworthiness. The blockchain also contains autographs from these artists, which further strengthens the legitimacy, validity and ethicality of the tokens.
LEDGIS (the platform RealCollection is built upon) has gone one step further in order to provide security. LEDGIS uses decentralized technology that is compliant with international standards for security management. LEDGIS, unlike other DApp networks, does not require a monthly fee. This allows for faster transactions and lower transaction costs.
In response to regulatory issues in Korea, RealCollection currently targets the overseas market, and the listing of $LED—LEDGIS’ native token—on BitMart Exchange will facilitate this ambitious yet viable move. RealCollection is also linked to PayPal (NASDAQ 🙂 as well as the LEDGIS digital wallet and a variety of English payment services.
RealCollection will be ready to compete with larger NFT projects in Korea if it adopts and integrates diverse payment systems. It will also help to remove the barriers of entry, particularly for Korean-based projects.
Still, it will also solidify RealCollection’s stance as a futuristic project.
RealCollection also ran an NFT drop that saw the distribution of over a thousand NFTs. Tagged a success by the team, the event managed to draw over 40,000 people, achieving its primary goal—creating visibility and awareness.
LEDGIS is the platform that underpins RealCollection. It provides a vast array of services and infrastructure, including NFT issuance, DiD and connecting wallets. RealCollection was recently launched.
“In addition to building multiple NFT markets, we are strengthening our own mainnet-based DApp ecosystem, part of which was launching the DeFi protocol Lemonade last March,” the LEDGIS team.
