REUTERS/Brendan McDermid(Reuters) – A labor organization that aims to represent Amazon workers (NASDAQ:), in a New Jersey warehouse, has withdrawn their petition for a unionization ballot. This was announced by a spokesperson of the U.S. National Labor Relations Board on Tuesday.
It comes a day following the NLRB’s announcement that Local 713 International Brotherhood of the Trade Union had received enough interest by workers at Amazon DNK5 to permit the balloting. It was unclear why the group withdrew.
