WASHINGTON (Reuters] – President Joe Biden will nominate Michael Ratney, U.S. ambassador in Saudi Arabia. This was announced by the White House on Friday.

Ratney is a U.S. Foreign Service career member. He previously held the charge d’affaires in the U.S. Embassy, Jerusalem, and the U.S. special envoy to Syria.
