WASHINGTON (Reuters] – Russia is already weakening its military, and has been weakened by the conflict with Ukraine. That was what John Kirby (NYSE : Pentagon Press Secretary) stated Tuesday at a NATO partner and NATO allies meeting.

Their military is weaker. “They are weaker right now, and they are further isolating,” Kirby told CNN in an interview. We don’t want Russia to again threaten our neighbors in the near future.

Its economy is in ruin. He said that although the military was not depleted completely in all aspects, they had suffered many casualties as well as losses during the invasion of Ukraine.

Kirby was not able to provide any more details about the assessment of Russia’s military.
