REUTERS/Jonathan Ernst/File photoWASHINGTON, (Reuters) – Lockheed Martin Corp (NYSE: ) CEO James Taiclet said Sunday that Corp plans to almost double the production of Javelin Missiles. This antitank weapon has proved successful in Ukraine.
Taiclet, in an interview with CBS News stated that his goal was to raise output to 4,000 per year. Currently it is 2,100. According to him, the growth could be delayed for a few years.
Lockheed Technologies (NYSE) jointly made the Javelin.
