A nearly three-year-long debate about the creation of a taskforce has ended. Monitor blockchain and other crypto projectsSpencer Cox (the governor of Utah) signed legislation to establish the Blockchain and Digital Innovation Task Force.

Utah’s State Legislature was the first to see it. IntroductionHouse bill (H.B. 335) was passed in February 2022. It took almost two months for the bill to go through many senates and house fiscal actions, before being finally signed by Governor Cox.
