ConocoPhillips’ shareholders vote against Scope 3 emissions reduction targets -Breaking

(Reuters) – ConocoPhillips’ shareholders (NYSE:) did not vote Tuesday in favor of a proposal that Scope 3 emissions from greenhouse gases, which are those created by ConocoPhillips products, be included in the company’s emissions reduction targets.

The tally shows that only 39% of shareholders supported the motion. It was estimated that 92% shareholders had voted in support of the board.
