Polish govt not expected to force banks to raise rates on deposits, mBank says -Breaking

WARSAW (Reuters). – The competition will drive up interest rates at Polish banks, Cezary Stepulkowski of mBank said Wednesday. However, he added that he does not believe the government would introduce any laws requiring banks raise rates.

Marek Lusztyn (deputy head) said that there is no trend to the growing number of people having trouble paying their mortgage loans and debts.
