Additionally, President Obama will make a speech at 5:15 a.m. on the sad milestone. He’ll also reference it in recorded remarks that kick off the 2nd global COVID Summit at 9 a.m.
According to Reuters, the United States recorded Wednesday more than 1,000,000 COVID-19-related deaths. This is a milestone that was previously unimaginable just two years ago, when the first cases disrupted daily life.
More people are living in 1,000,000 than San Francisco and Seattle combined.
