The CFTC Commissioner appoints a senior policy advisor with experience in digital asset regulation

Caroline Pham is currently serving as a Commissioner at the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission (or CFTC). She has also announced that a former Head of U.S. Regulation Policy at Investment Banking firm Credit Suisse Securities will join her team.

Pham announced the news on Friday. Keaghan, who will start May 23, as a senior policy adviser and counselor at the CFTC. Ames was vice president of Credit Suisse and headed U.S. regulatory policies for over two years. He also advised executives regarding digital asset regulation. Ames will join the CFTC after a stint at the Institute of International Bankers as director of government affairs.
