France’s Thales wins major contract for U.S. Army -Breaking

(Reuters) – Thales was awarded a ten year contract by the U.S. Army to supply advanced tactical radios as part of a $6 billion deal, according to the French defense group.

Thales released a statement saying that the contract was part of an Army effort to end its single channel ground and airborne radio systems.
