SEOUL (Reuters). South Korea’s central bank chief and finance minister agreed Monday to strengthen policy coordination for fighting financial market instability and inflation, they cited them as the greatest current threats facing the economy.

Two of the most important economic policymakers in the country met on Monday, one month after they took office. It was a followup to their Friday attendance at a President Yoon Suk-yeol hosted meeting.
