France stocks higher at close of trade; CAC 40 up 1.30% -Breaking

Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Paris closed with an increase of 1.30% and the index increasing by 1.29%.

Engie SA, which gained 5.33% (or 0.62 points) to trade at 12.25 after the close of the session. Meanwhile, Societe Generale SA (EPA) gained 3.62%, or 0.84 points, to close at 24.05. Schneider Electric SE was up 3.37% (or 4.20 points) to 128.92 late trade.

EUR/USD was up by 1.07% at 1.05, and EUR/GBP unchanged by 0.22% at 0.84.

At 103.39, the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.78%.
