(Reuters) – Monday’s San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank President Mary Daly said that the U.S. economic recovery is on the rise and the bank could raise its interest rates so they no longer stimulate growth, but not start a recession.

In an interview with Fox News, Daly stated that “we really do have a strong economic system.” “I believe that we can weather any storm…get the interest rate up…price stability back and leave Americans with lots of jobs and growing as we expect.”
