Ethiopian Airlines discloses order for five Boeing 777 freighters -Breaking

(Reuters) – Ethiopian Airlines disclosed Wednesday it was an unidentified carrier who placed an order for five Boeing (NYSE) Co 777 freighters. The confirmation of a Reuters Report from March.

It currently operates Africa’s biggest cargo terminal via Addis Ababa. The airline also has three converted freighters 737-800.

Boeing reported in March that it had received five orders for freighters from an unnamed client. Reuters later reported that Ethiopian had placed an order for five cargo planes from an unnamed customer in March. This was to satisfy short-term cargo demand.
