JERUSALEM, (Reuters) – Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said that Iran will not be spared for instigating terrorist attacks by its proxies. This was just a week following the murder in Tehran of a Revolutionary Guards Colonel. Israel has since been accused.

Two motorcycle riders and Hassan Sayad Khodai shot Hassan Sayad Khodai to death at his wheel. He was accused of planning attacks on Israel’s citizens around the world. This tactic was reminiscent of previous murders in Iran, which were primarily focused on nuclear scientists. It was widely blamed on Mossad.

Iran’s semiofficial ISNA news agency stated that Iranian intelligence services network members were found and captured by the Guards right after the Tehran shooting.

Bennett’s Office, the intelligence agency Mossad oversees, declined to comment.

Bennett, however, voiced his disapproval of Iran’s repeated attacks on Israeli interests, broadcasting remarks to his ministers.

Bennett explained that “for decades the Iranian regime practiced terror against Israel and other regions by using proxy, emissaries but the head to the octopus Iran has enjoyed immunity.”

As we’ve said, the days of immunity for the Iranian regime are over. He added that terrorist financiers and terrorist-arming terrorists as well as terrorists who are sent to them will be punished.”

Iran promised to take revenge for Khodai’s death, and Israel was the one who pointed it out.
