- Blockchain will revolutionize how we communicate.
- TokLok, an industry expert in crypto-related privacy, is from Poland and believes that its new messenger app will crack the code.
- Tokens are used to identify the platform’s native token, called TOL.
It’s no secret that cryptocurrencies have changed the global financial system forever. A cross-border network allows people to transact direct without worrying about fraud or being censored for the first ever time in human history. Cryptocurrency is an increasingly popular topic. Everyone seems to own some. But this success wouldn’t have been possible without blockchain. Today, blockchain is on its way to revolutionizing yet another big part of life – how people communicate.
Blockchains can be described as shared ledgers which track data flows within networks. Blockchains are used as receipts to keep track of which addresses have sent what cryptocurrency payments. This transaction data can be accessed publicly, allowing people to feel confident that payments will be handled fairly regardless of their relationships with others.
Blockchains also allow you to send and receive messages. This is a lesser-known aspect. Blockchains can store and transfer any data. Most wallets allow you to send messages along with crypto transactions. However, this method isn’t optimal for mainstream chatting for a couple of reasons. The first is that ever increasing transaction times can cause unwelcome delays in messaging delivery. Second, public blockchains don’t bode well for private conversations.
Still, blockchains have exposed the potential of decentralized communication networks to enable real-time chatting free of censorship or surveillance – and several projects are trying to make this a reality. TokLok is a Polish privacy company that has been founded by experts in cryptocurrency.
Immune to prying eyes, TokLok’s messenger guarantees fully confidential correspondence between businesses and individuals. The app leverages Bluetooth technology to allow phone-to–phone communication over Bluetooth, without the need of internet or cellular data. Effectively, the app creates a decentralized communication network that can’t be intercepted or shut down from the outside.
The app uses encrypted tunnels to send messages anonymously. This prevents anyone except intended recipients from seeing them. It also automatically deletes all messages. Additionally, communications between phone handsets are encrypted so that no one other than intended recipients can read them.
TokLok’s native token, used to access the app and reward users, is called TOL. TokLok is already in agreement with several major exchanges and will soon begin trading. The company’s first public offering comes from the community. TokLok will offer early investors three rounds of participation in sales before TOL is available on exchanges. Already live is the first round which provides $TOL at the lowest price.
TokLok offers investors the opportunity to earn passive income and token holding reward through its TOL token. The additional benefit for early investors who have purchased 1000 TOL tokens or more will be lifetime messenger access, which they can share with one another.
The messenger is already in development. Funds raised from TOL sales will go towards continual updates and security improvements. Additionally, deals with other exchanges will be made to attract more users. Investors could play a significant role in shaping the future communications.
