Cardano founder: 2022 will see greater deFi and NFT regulations

Charles Hoskinson is the creator of the blockchain. He predicts that DeFi will have more regulation by 2022. Hoskinson spoke out in “Little Bit of Everything,” a YouTube show.

“New players will start to enter (crypto), and there will certainly be an influx of regulatory activities especially on the DeFi-side. In 2021 we witnessed the DeFi/NFT craze, and in 2022 and 2023 there will likely be legislative changes.

The creator also stated that the new metaverse, or a universe built from the leftovers of the previous universe, would begin construction in 2022. Cardano’s creator spoke out about the bad government’s attitudes toward cryptocurrency. His words were clear:

We are here to change the history. We’re not those who make loans at 85%; we’re not drug lords launderers; nor are we the ones who initiate wars. We certainly don’t censure countries that cause such severe harm to children.

“We are not perpetrators of any atrocities. A majority of financial crimes were committed using cash, or plain old money. Cryptocurrency is something that needs to be eliminated.

He also stated that the cryptocurrency business will have absorbed the consequences of rapid growth by 2022. Hoskinson asserts it is hard to argue with a $2.5 billion business and understand where it is going. Hoskinson’s words:

The year 2022 will be amazing. We don’t know whether we will have the same increase in this year as 2021. We will absorb the industry’s rapid growth for good or bad, I think. To ensure the industry’s future, we must educate ourselves, use many tools and put in a lot of effort.
