Malaysia has received $81.7 million from KPMG in 1MDB settlement -Breaking

KUALA LUMPUR, Reuters – Malaysia announced on Thursday that it had received 340.92M ringgit (81.69M) from KPMG in settlement of a lawsuit filed by 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

The Finance Ministry stated that the government had repaid 1MDB’s debt by 13.3 billion Ringgit. As of Dec. 31, the remaining amount was 38.81 trillion ringgit.
