According to the Supreme Court, Justice Clarence Thomas is now in hospital due to an illness.

Thomas, age 73, was admitted Friday to Sibley Memorial Hospital, Washington, D.C., following “flu-like symptoms,” the court stated.

Thomas is receiving antibiotics, and the symptoms have subsided. According to the court, Thomas is doing well now and should be out of trouble in just a couple days.

This week, the Supreme Court will hear arguments in four cases. The court stated that Thomas will participate even if he is unable to attend the arguments.

Thomas was on the Court since 1991.
